Our Story

Over the past decade, American Racing Headers has grown from a humble startup to a leading provider of high-quality stainless steel headers & exhaust systems to the performance racing community and automotive enthusiast worldwide.

In September 2005, American Racing Headers opened its doors. Our mission was clear and simple: take the industry by storm with uncompromising quality and a commitment to excellence. We would combine the finest USA-sourced materials with first rate craftsmanship. We would make exceptional performance attainable and we would do it on American soil. We would design and manufacture products void of the inherent problems that have plagued header design for decades.

We knew that first-rate headers had to start with quality materials and craftsmanship. Our entire product line is made of 304 stainless steel, providing excellent resistance to corrosion, heat and the elements in any environment. Attention to detail drives every stage of our process, from prototyping to production.

Just a few short years after our inception, ARH got the attention of the "Big Three" American auto manufacturers. We are the proud Tier-one supplier of race headers for the Ford Cobra Jet Mustang, GM's COPO Camaro, the Chrysler Drag Pack Challenger and the Dodge ACR-X Viper.  We are honored to be associated with these programs and to make a small contribution to the legacy of these iconic race cars.

In 2013 ARH moved  into our current 30,000 sq ft facility in Deer Park, New York. The move gave us the space we needed to fulfill our mission. Now, as 2016 draws to a close, we are more focused than ever on continuous quality improvement and exceeding the demands of a customer base that defines itself through performance.
