Description

To make the GT-R run faster... When striving for more power and greater response, lightening of the vehicle is absolutely essential. Besides lightening the vehicle, anti-heating measures are key to running the vehicle at its maximum potential on the circuit. The design of the Carbon Bonnet Type II is based on maintaining the design as well as the GT-R's functionality. The biggest change to the characteristics of the bonnet would be the ventilation ducts added to the engine room. To take advantage of the limited air space available, air is allowed to flow through the inner ribs of the bonnet to counter the heating of the engine. Also, to prevent rain water from directly entering the engine room, drains have been added to the front of the bonnet to counter water based problems.
Mine's strives to maintain the GT-R's original design and will almost fool you in thinking that it's a factory part.


Without drastically changing the design Mine's provides an original sporty design, that is obviously different from others.


Dry carbon material is used and the bonnet weighs just 5.2 kg. This brings a huge 6.9 kg weight difference. As we did with the Type I, honeycomb construction is used as to maintain durability and keep it lightweight. The Carbon Bonnet Type II is compatible with the factory striker and just needs to be bolted on.


It is available with a Super Clear Coat Finish as well as without for those who intend to paint the bumper to their own liking

Domestic Shipping Policy & Shipment processing time

All orders are processed within 2-3 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

Shipping rates & delivery estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. If no shipping charge is shown upon checkout, we will contact you and invoice shipping separately. We cannot calculate ever changing rates for some items coming in from Japan, Australia, or other countries when special ordered.

Special order items can take anywhere from 1 week to several months depending on vendor lead time. Please check with us before placing an order.

 
Special order products

Any item that requires options to be selected such as Hypertune intakes requiring anodizing, runner and injector configurations and combinations, is considered a special order / made to order / drop shipped product. These special order products cannot be cancelled once shipped. Exchanges will be given for defective products. If the merchant is unable to send a replacement item, refund will be given once the item is returned to us.

Please inquire on which items are special ordered, made to order before placing your order if you are unsure.

If the vendor is unable to fulfill and order in a timely manner then we may choose to cancel the order and have the merchant refund us.

International Shipping Policy

We currently do not ship outside the U.S.

Returns Policy

We accept returns on unused products within 30 days of delivery. Excludes custom order products and specialty order items.
